Project Home

Project Home is a residential program that certifies Maryland citizens to provide, in their homes, the room, board, assistance and supervision needed by adult with disabilities who are unable to live alone without support.

  • The Project Home program offers protective living including room, board, assistance with activities of daily living, recreational and social activities, medication monitoring, transportation to medical appointments and supervision.
  • Project Home residents are screened, assessed and placed by the local Department of Social Services.
  • Residents in the program receive intensive case management services provided by the local Department of Social Services.
  • Adults age 18 and over, who have a disability and are willing and able to live in a family setting are eligible to apply.
  • Documentation of disability, income, ability to self-medicate or ability to learn to self-medicate and functional capability will be required.
