​​​Community Housing, Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRCs), and Senior Assisted Living Subsidies (SALS)

Community ​Housing Program 

Offers help with activities of daily living in apartment buildings for older low- to moderate-income residents.​

Continuing Care Retirement Communities (CCRC) 

MDOA regulates CCRCs, which offer older adults various levels of housing and care without leaving the community campus as health needs change over time.​

Senior Assisted Living Subsidy Program

The Senior Assisted Living Subsidy Program helps low- to moderate-income adults age 62 years and older pay for assisted living programs they would otherwise ​be unable to afford.
