Durable Medical Equipment

Maryland's DME program is improving the quality of life for many Maryland residents by providing the equipment and supports they need to stay safe and connected in their homes and communities. Free durable medical equipment is available to Marylanders with any illness, injury, or disability, regardless of age, at no cost. All equipment is collected via donation and is sanitized, repaired, and redistributed to locations throughout Maryland for pickup.

About Maryland's DME Re-Use Program

Maryland's DME Re-Use program works with individuals, health care providers, and organizations to provide a range of medical and safety equipment to those who need it, no prescription required. The recipient can keep the equipment as long as they need it, or donate it back to DME when it is no longer needed. DME does provide delivery, pick-up, or installation services. Distribution and Donations Sites are located throughout Maryland. To contact DME, call 240-230-8000 or email [email protected].
