Programs and Services

MDOA provides advocacy, oversight, and administrative support for programs and services that help older adults remain in their homes and communities. Working closely with Area Agencies on Aging (AAA), MDOA allocates resources and informs statewide planning in accordance with state and federal guidelines. Older adults and people with disabilities who need services and support should visit Maryland Access Point (MAP).

Key Program Areas

Through researched-based education and technical assistance, MDOA works closely with local Area Agencies on Aging (AAAs) to guide the development of meaningful programs that are appropriate and inclusive of Maryland's diverse older adult population.
