Virtual Dementia Capability Training


Maryland's Dementia Capable Community Connections project invites you to participate in the virtual Dementia Capability Training. The training consists of eight brief modules that may be viewed at your convenience by clicking on the links below. 

This resource is made available by the Maryland Department of Aging in partnership with the Alzheimer’s Association of Greater Maryland and Capital Area, the University of Maryland Geriatrics & Gerontology Education and Research Program, the Johns Hopkins Geriatric Workforce Enhancement Program, the Maryland Living Well Center of Excellence, and the Mental Health Association of Maryland. 

In order to receive a Certificate of Completion, you must complete the Pre Assessment and Post Assessment. A score of 80% or great is required on the post assessment. If your score is less that 80%, please review the training content and retake the assessment.
