MDOA FY25 Healthy Aging Community Housing Competitive Grant Opportunity

Funding Opportunity - MDOA is pleased to announce a competitive funding opportunity​ for grant awards under the Healthy Aging Program, Sections 10-1101 and 10-1102 of the Human Services Article of the Annotated Code of Maryland. All providers that have participated in Congregate Housing Services Program and the Community Housing/Healthy Aging Grant Program are eligible and encouraged to submit an application.

The purpose of this grant is to:

  1. Provide health and lifestyle supports in group or community housing settings to low-income older adults; 
  2. Encourage aging safely at home and in the community;
  3. Reduce hospitalizations and reduce the likelihood of spending down income and assets for higher levels of care and requiring Medicaid support; and
  4. Improve the quality of life for older adults living in group or community housing settings.​

Please download the following documents to apply for the 2025 Healthy Aging Community Housing Grant:

A non-binding letter of intent with a project summary​ must be submitted electronically by 5:00 pm EST on Friday, June 14th, 2024 to mdoa.executiveoffice@maryland.gov​​.
