The Maryland Department of Human Services Will Reimburse Stolen EBT​

Over the last several months, more than 2,300 Maryland adults and families with Electronic
Benefits Transfer (EBT) cards have had their food and cash benefits stolen from their accounts. The Maryland Department of Human Services (DHS) has launched a simple, seamless
and swift process for reimbursing stolen benefits. If you or someone you know has been personally affected by stolen EBT benefits, you can submit a claim for reimbursements at this link: EBT Fraud Claim Attestation. Benefits will be reimbursed in 15 business days or sooner.
